Well, I've already missed a day of blogging, and I just started!! I would like to clarify that this is just an example of how bad I am at keeping up with things online, NOT that I am bad at keeping up with my goals.
Remember how I wrote last blog that I was trying not to cheat and eat before I go to bed? Yeah, I totally lost that battle. My chocolate easter bunny was calling to me from the fridge. I just had a little nibble, but it haunted me for the rest of the night, so last night I was completely successful in not eating after 9:00pm. It's harder than you think for someone like me who stays up until 11:30pm!!
Today I plugged in my Wii and turned on the Fitness Coach my dear husband bought for me. And let me just say, that the computer-generated fitness coach is a BITCH! Oh, she's so peppy and SO freakin' encouraging, I just wanted to hit MUTE but couldn't, because I was moving too fast to keep up with the cardio she was putting me through! I will be glad for a bigger living room, that's for sure!! And, even though it is my day off today, I've been avoiding snacks particularly well! I think it's because we have our Disneyland trip soon, and I hate looking fat in pictures, so that is definitely one motivator. Another is, one of my best friends from high school is getting married in June - that is DEFINITELY a reason to lose weight, considering that all my old school friends will be there! So, I'm kicking it into high gear folks! Just wait - this time next year, I'll be a size 8 and looking fantastic!
Or so I hope. Now I'll go and drink 2 glasses of water in one sitting, and pine over the dessert crepes that are in the fridge as a "treat" after dinner tonight. Stupid food!
